IIRE is on the board of the Executive Committee of International Consortium of Real Estate Associations – ICREA - an alliance. Through a multilateral agreement and specific business practice protocols, this alliance provides significant benefits not only to its constituent members who seek to do transnational business but to its domestic constituents as well. ICREA’s primary objective is to assist members of the respective organizations in efficiently and profitably facilitating transnational business.

ICREA and its member associations are committed to high standards of professional conduct for member brokers. Each member association has a country-specific code of conduct and, collectively, the organization has adopted a statement on International Principles of Conduct.

IIRE is a registered non-profit organization, championing the cause of the Indian real estate industry. IIRE has evolved into a nationally renowned certifying and accreditation institute, dedicated to enhance the standard of real estate practice in India. The India Institute of Real Estate has been conceived and established with the sole vision of giving the Indian real estate practitioners, national and international recognition with the help of education.

The strength of IIRE is that it has been encouraged and supported by the real estate community themselves, even before the Government of India conceived of instituting a regulatory authority for the industry. The real estate industry has identified that the need for training, skills up gradation, quality customer service, customer relation management and market knowledge are important for a sustainable growth.
